Cookie Policy.
Last updated: April 20, 2026 · Tycoon Sports Consulting LLC
At a glance. We use only what's needed to keep you signed in, remember your language, and accept payments. No advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. Third-party payment cookies are set by Stripe during checkout.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to help it function — for example, to keep you logged in or remember your preferences. "Local storage" is a related browser feature that works like a cookie but is accessible only to the site that wrote it.
2. Cookies & Storage We Use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tycoon_sid |
Essential (cookie) | Keeps you signed into your admin/subscriber session. Signed with HMAC, httpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict in production. |
8 hours |
tp_cookie_ok |
Essential (localStorage) | Records that you acknowledged the cookie banner so we don't show it again. | Until you clear browser storage |
tp_lang |
Functional (localStorage) | Remembers your language preference (English / Spanish). | Until you clear browser storage |
| Push subscription endpoint | Functional (browser storage) | Only if you opt in to web-push notifications — stores the anonymous endpoint your browser uses to receive pushes. | Until you disable notifications |
3. Third-Party Cookies
We rely on Stripe, Inc. for payments. When you start checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies on the Stripe Checkout domain for fraud prevention, payment-method retention, and 3D-Secure flows. These cookies are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies, not ours:
We do not use any advertising, analytics, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar service.
4. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent login and checkout from functioning:
To clear the cookie-consent state stored in localStorage, open your browser's developer tools → Application → Local Storage, find jeremiahthetycoon.com, and delete the tp_cookie_ok key.
5. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
We do not set any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change our behavior materially. Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, where detected, are treated as a valid opt-out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for users in jurisdictions where that right applies.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we add new cookie categories or vendors, we will update this page and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
